Ugandan-Canadians & African Descent Professional Associates (UCAS & ADPA) is an organization dedicated to promoting equality, cultural diversity, and the elimination of systemic racism. It also supports individuals of African descent in integrating into Canadian society.
The organization recognized that its website was outdated and no longer effectively communicated with its audiences. They hired me to refine their digital communication and branding strategy to better serve their mission.
The current website, built on WordPress, is still live. I stuck to WordPress for the redesign because it is a cost-effective solution for the organization, and the staff is already familiar with updating content on the site.
I collaborated with key stakeholders to establish a user journey map and a cohesive visual identity. Currently, I am refining the website copy to ensure it resonates with the organization’s target audience and effectively communicates their mission before deploying the designs.
